Introduction
Alrighty then, let's get this over with. This review is about the Kuan Ju Works Beretta M92FS Gas Blow Back semi-automatic pistol.

First Impression

I bought this as my first ever airsoft gun from Power Edge Hawaii about a year ago. My past experience was with full metal cap guns, and those were squirt guns compared to this little beauty. It wasn't as heavy as it's full metal brothers but it still felt great to me. My hands being a little small, it was a little overwhealming see the size of a real pistol (being a 1/1 replica all in all). I paid $95 for this gun, 2k bottle of 0.25s and a free game at Power Edge. Well after a quick briefing about the gun's operation from the helpful sales person. I proceeded to play.
The gun seemed extremely detailed to me, except for the fact that KJ placed their logo in the little circle thingy on the handgrip, but that could easily be replaced. Other than that, this gun felt as solid as a rock to me. I filled it up with gas, inserted a few BBs, slid it into the gun, cocked the slide back with it's satisfying noise, aimed, pulled the trigger... *BANG*... the only thing in my mind after that was "I GOTTA DO THAT AGAIN!!!"

Function
Function... the most important part of the gun. I've read some where saying "it' doesn't matter if it's butt ugly, just so long as it does what it's supposed to do." If I bought a gun, it better shoot. At the time of buying my gun, I was able to hit the same quarter sized circle 10/10 times in a row at 20', whilst the BB's came flying back at my head (covered by a mask of course) with enough force still to make a loud *thwaking* noise when it hit my mask (btw shooting a wood target). Now if you ask me, I'd say thats a pretty damn accurate/powerful pistol. I'd gauge the FPS at around 300FPS.

I've had this gun for about a year now (and haven't used it during that time period due to parental restrictions), but when I brought It over to Blitzkreig's house to educate him in the GBB ways, he noted that it was very loud. Me being basically a mini and GBB owner didn't think so, but my brother noted that when we all went to Viper2681's grad party last last week sunday, everyone knew where I was and who I was whenever I fired my dual Berettas (borrowing my brothers one also).

Being a GBB and all, the firing rate is awesome. It's much faster than any AEG can shoot on semi-auto. With me being probably haveing the itchiest trigger finger on this island can squeze off the magazine of 27+1 max rounds shortly under 3 secconds (no BS). I love the trigger pull on this gun. With the hammer cocked, the trigger pull is extremely short, also contributing to the high rates of fire achievable by this gun.

I don't know a crap load about real guns, but according my Lee, my gun dissembles almost exactaly like the real thing. Compared to a cheap KWC piece of crap, this thing is the real steel whilst the KWC is a $0.50 squirt gun. KWC guns don't take-down like the real steel. The saftey on my gun also functions perfectly. Update: Since I've had this gun for about a year and probably taken more than 5k rounds through it, I've found that the saftey falls off and stops functioning properly. Mine fell off on the right side at a game and I never found it so I can't repair it.
Ammo capacity is awesome in my opinion. With the ability to hold 27+1 rounds (double stacked) I believe this is one of the highest capacities of gas magazines avaliable in a standard capacity magazine.
With a brand new gas can, it holds enough gas for approxmately 2 magazines worth of shots. Individual results may vary due to ambient temperature and rate of fire.
Hop-up is not adjustable (which was kinda a bummer because at the time I believed that all guns with hop-up were adjustable).
The magazines made by KJ are reputed to be one of the best if not the best. They are completely silent while filling and don't leak gas for better shots per can effiency. My only gripe about the mags is that they are not easy to load BBs into, Other magazines that i've handled; you just have to pull down the feeding spring, and pour in BBs with a loader of some sort. With the KJ mags on the other hand, you are required to hand insert each BB into the magazine one at a time.
Overall, the stock accuracy of this gun will make an execelent primary weapon provided it's cared for properly and lubed up just the right amount.

Appearance and Build
This gun is rock solid. My only gripe about its appearance is that it doesn't have any trademarks. There's a Kuan Ju model number engraved on the side to mimic a serial number (i'm guessing). I'm not sure whats supposed to be on the grips but the initials "KJ" are there. Oh yes, something else that I believe is important... I've dropped my mag several times and makes a jingling noise when I shake it. According to the people at Poweredge a brass tube as become loose and shouoldn't affect performance in any way, and for a small service fee of $5 that can be fixed.

Gimmicks and Miscellaneous
*sigh*... After seeing the posiblities of rail mounted systems, I now wish my gun was a tactial edition and had a rail. But none the less, it still is a kick ass gun...
The people over at Power Edge Hawaii said that while the gun may not be made out of metal but still containing a high metal content, it is possible to upgrade the slide to a metal one for $75.

Overall

My guns speaks for itself. While it may not be as heavy and realistic and durable as it's metal counterpart, with the plastic restrictions, it's as realistic as replicas made out of plastic can get. With a large amount of metal worked into this gun, it's hard to believe that this gun can actually break. With the accuracy, ROF of GBBs, FPS, ammo capacity, I believe this is worth beyond what I paid for.
